One way to help yourself control your
temper is to remember God is watching you in everything you do, and
everything you say. So ask yourself, "How would I want God to
treat me?" In The Bible, it does does speak well of
ill-tempered people,
Proverbs 12:16
Losing your temper is foolish; ignoring an insult is smart.
Proverbs 14:17
Fools have quick tempers, and no one likes you if you can't be trusted.
Proverbs 14:29
It's smart to be patient, but it's stupid to lose your temper
Proverbs 15:18
Losing your temper causes a lot of trouble, but staying calm settles arguments.
Proverbs 16:32
Controlling your temper is better than being a hero who captures a city.
Proverbs 17:27
A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered.
